Find your dog's size

How much does your dog weigh?

This harness is made for 45–100 lb dogs.

More help for the moments that get harder.

Designed to give you extra support when your dog needs help getting up, climbing stairs, getting into the car, or moving around outside.

Getting up

When standing from the floor becomes harder, the handles give you a more controlled way to help.

Stairs

Give your dog extra support when stairs become a challenge.

Getting into the car

Help guide your dog into the car without relying on an awkward under-the-belly lift.

Outdoor walks

Extra support for those moments when your dog needs a little help on the move.

And lifting a 70 lb dog under the belly isn't exactly easy on your back, either.

See how it works

Two supports. Two handles. You lift, they walk.

The front piece supports the chest. The rear piece supports the hips. Hold the back handles and give your dog as much help as they need.

  1. Support the front

The front section supports your dog's chest.

  2. Support the rear

The rear section supports your dog's hips and gives you a handle to help lift.

  3. Lift with both hands

Use the back handles to give your dog the support they need through the moment.

Your dog doesn't always need to be carried. Sometimes they just need a little help getting up, moving through a difficult spot, or getting where they're going.

Our story

Made for the moments when your dog needs a little more help.

We created this harness around a simple problem: helping a bigger dog when getting up, climbing stairs, getting into the car, or moving around becomes harder.

Tandem Hound started with a question every big-dog owner faces sooner or later: how do I help my dog up without hurting either of us? We read through the reviews of the lifting harnesses already out there, and the same complaints kept coming up: buckles that don't feel secure, harnesses that are hard to put on, and sizing that doesn't suit big dogs. So we designed ours around those three problems. We're a small company, and before we sell a single harness, we test it on a real dog.

Sizes overlap at 80–85 lb. We'll add the final fit rule after testing on real dogs. If the size you choose doesn't fit, we'll exchange it once for free.
